How much does Shopify store setup cost?
Shopify store setup starts from £499. It includes up to 20 products, core pages, payments, shipping and tax settings, and hand-over. Larger stores and custom needs are quoted in writing before any work starts. Shopify’s own subscription, apps and fees are paid directly to Shopify.
How long does it take to set up a Shopify store?
Most small stores take around 1–2 weeks once we have your products, photos and logo. Larger stores take longer, and we confirm the timeline in your written quote.
Can you set up my Shopify store for me?
Yes. Saj Soman, founder of SAJ Creative in Oldham, builds your store personally: theme and branding, products, core pages, payments, shipping and tax settings. You then get a short walkthrough so you can manage it yourself.
What do I need to provide?
Your logo and brand colours if you have them, product photos, product details and prices, and your shipping and returns information. Don’t have it all yet? Tell us what you have and we’ll advise.
Will I own my Shopify store?
Yes. We build in a development store and then transfer it to your own Shopify account, so the store, products and customer data are yours.
Can you upload my products?
Yes. Up to 20 products are included, set up with photos, descriptions, variants and prices, and organised into collections. More than 20 products, or importing from a spreadsheet or another platform, is quoted in writing.
Do I need to buy a Shopify plan?
You need a Shopify plan to sell, and you pay Shopify directly. You don’t need one to get started: we build in a development store and transfer it to your account when you’re ready to go live. Plans, trials and prices change, so check shopify.com for current details.
Do you only work with businesses in Oldham?
No. We’re based in Oldham, close to Manchester, and meet locally where it helps. We also work remotely with product brands and small businesses across the UK.
